[C3v] Edick loock [2] Neempt loock met soute ende stoot dat te gadere ende doet [3] dat duer eenen stramijn met edick oft azijn Ende alst [4] duer ghedaen es eest te dicke soe lynctment met edyck [5] Dit gheeft men tot ghebraden spierinc ende sonderlin[6]ghe tot ghebacken carpers eest datmen wilt ende an[7]deren visch.

[C3v] Vinegar Loock. [2] Take garlic with salt and grind it together and pass [3] it through a sieve with vinegar. And when it [4] has been passed through if it is too thick one thins it with vinegar. [5] One serves this with roast/fried sprats and especially with baked/fried carp if one wishes, and with [7] other fish.
