[6] To make a suypen* for an ill or [7] sick person. Take two yolks
of eggs or [8] three and a little flour. Then mix them both [9] together
very well. Then pour into it wine or [10] beer, each time very little and
stir [11] it each time. And pour as much wine or beer [12] therein as you
think is enough. Then put therein [13] a slice of butter with some salt
and so let it [14] boil well. But it must always be stirred as long as
[15] it boils because [otherwise] it would settle and burn. |
