[18] To make holy water for pike. Prepare it [19] and boil it. After
that lay it in a dish. [20] Then you shall take half a glass of rose water
and [21] just as much verjuice and a little ginger, a [22] goodly amount
of marjoram. Take also the liver of [23] the pike. Set this to boil
altogether. Then [24] pass it through a strainer. Herein you shall put
half a [25] quarter [of a pound] to serve it on one dish. [26] Set the
pike on a charcoal fire to stew. |
