[13] To make a stoop of good fine ypocras. [14] So take a stoop [2.6
litres] of white wine and half a [15] pint. Then take a mugful of this
wine; make [16] it warm. You shall mix five ounces of brown sugar well
into it with a spoon. Take of [18] the very best fine cinnamon four ounces
and a half. [19] White ginger a quarter [of an ounce]. Grains of paradise,
[20] sweet flag each four grains. From this [21] make powder and pour it
through the sack just [22] as one does clareyt. |
