[2] To make quae[r]tbeleyt. [3] One shall take a quart of wine and
into it one shall [4] throw four fresh eggs and one shall shake them [5]
up with [i.e. in] a pot until the yolks and the whites of the eggs [6] are
broken up. Then one shall set the quart pot [7] in the fire and let it
become good and hot. Then the white and [8] the dregs run out to the top
and the other one drinks all warm. [9] This is good for old people [in] a
mug or bowl. [10] Some take thereto a good amount of loaf sugar. |
