[23] Struyven out of Lententide. [24] One shall take yolks of raw
eggs [25] beaten up with flour. Then for this you shall take [26] rape oil
in a pan or kettle and make [27] it boiling hot. Then one shall take the
beaten [28] yolks which are mixed and one shall make them run [29] through
a funnel over the oil. And that person [30] may not hold the funnel still,
but one must [31] make circles according to how large one wants them and
[how] wide [E5r] and thick. One shall let them fry well. And when they are
well [2] fried so one shall take them out and strew [3] them with loaf
sugar. This aforesaid struyven is customarily [4] fried for women who lie
in childbed. |
